Guys… I kind of suck at blogging! LOL
Honestly one of my least favorite parts of the business is website work! I don’t know if I will ever keep up on blogging because of that fact alone! I would so much rather be in the kitchen making the products, researching new products that I am interested in and creating and testing new products!
The last blog post was from 2023 and it is now 2025 so a little update is in order! If you are new around here, HI! If you are a beloved veteran of the site, how are you? Thanks for hanging around! I honestly have never loved my website. Partially because I hate doing website work but also I have just never loved the pages, the layout, the flow, the colors… basically any of it! And I have been thinking about fixing it for a while but with my part time job, 3 kids, 2 of which are in hockey (which if you didn’t know is a year round sport), a husband that works full time and a small hobby farm, time is not really my friend. However I recently was looking through some of the analytics on the back end and especially with as much marketing and pushing of the website that we did in 2024… it was really disappointing! The amount of people that visit the website but don’t interact or shop is WILD! And I started to wonder if the website itself was the problem. Now here we are a few month later and I’m doing it! I’m going to create a website that I LOVE! And I hope you all love it too! Its going to take a little bit to get all new pictures taken and everything updated as I need to make a lot of products ( We ran out of a lot of stuff late last year and this years craft show season is fast approaching) but keep your eye out for the changes! I’m really digging this greenish color background right now but that might change too. Ultimately its my choice because its my business, but I like to keep the hubby involved and ask his opinion, he is after all my IT, Tech, Book keeper, and CFO.
I also have some ideas for a few new products so don’t be surprised if you see new things showing up or some items disappearing. I am going to be discontinuing some products that just don’t really sell and I end up throwing a lot of away. And with that said I am going to be shifting a little bit away from some of the “bath” items and maybe adding some natural healthy products. I’ve been throwing around the idea of soaps and beeswax wraps for a couple years now and I think I’m ready to take the plunge. But don’t expect anything with dyes or fragrances to come from me! That is not my style! But I am excited to see what 2025 has to bring! Can’t wait to see you all at shows this year!!!
